2ND NATIONAL CONFERENCE | Date: 16th-17th November, 2018 | Venue: Royal Tropicana Hotels Ltd, Plot No 764 Cadastral Zone B05, Utako District FCT-Abuja, Nigeria.


Sustainable development has become one of the major global issues of this era. In recognition of the world’s need for sustainability, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by world leaders at the United Nations summit in September 2015 came into force on 1 January, 2016. Security Technology enabled innovation is integral to incorporating sustainability into global development. The 2nd National Conference of National Association of Criminologists and Security Practitioners of Nigeria (NACSP) will provide a unique opportunity to bring together stakeholders from government, Security industry, Criminologists and Security Practitioners, academia, multilateral agencies, international organizations, Students, youth groups and civil society to share knowledge and experiences towards leveraging Security Innovation to achieve more sustainable and inclusive societies. Actionable initiatives and solutions will be developed through collaborative dialogue, keynotes, presentations, demonstrations and panels during the Conference.

Call for Papers:

Authors are invited to submit their full papers in English on original work for publication and presentation at the NACSP 2nd National Conference via nacsswatchdogs@yahoo.com info@nacss.org.ng

All submitted papers will be peer reviewed by highly qualified panel of reviewers. The authors are requested to submit full paper of their original and unpublished work not later than Friday, April 27, 2018.

Instructions to Authors:

1. Authors are invited to submit their full papers in English on original work intended for presentation at the Conference. Paper acceptance will be based on full paper submission.
2. Papers must have relevance to one or more of the sub-themes listed
3. Papers submitted must include the authors’ names and affiliations. However, full details of authors (names, addresses and e-mails) must be included in the final camera-ready copy
4. All papers must be submitted electronically as an attached Microsoft Word document (.doc). Full papers should be mailed directly to: nacsswatchdogs@yahoo.com , info@nacsp.org.ng with the title of the paper as the subject.
5. Selected papers may be considered for publication in International Journals, including the Journal of Criminologists and Security Practitioners of Nigeria (JOCASPON) and its will be published by National Association of Criminologists and Security Practitioners of Nigeria.
6. Author whose paper is accepted for presentation and publication will register with the sum of N 20, 000.00 via the Associations’ bank account below:
