Vision, Mission & Aims


NACSP shall promote a better and greater Nigeria through good governance and developmental research, advocacy and security entrepreneurship with dexterity cum intelligence policing technology. It will also create a platform for international professionalism associated with the intriguing knowledge based society to exhibit their intellectual products via manpower and artificial intelligence to provide security services to government, industries, the private sector and the general public.


NACSP aims at contributing her inexhaustible mental prowess and professional manpower to promote good governance, development and strategies for a secured Nigeria through empirical research and studies via provision of whitepaper to the Nigerian government/

security agencies on threatening security issues, development of Intelligence security technology (Crimo-Techno), re–orientation of Nigerians and promotion of security professions via innovations, conferences, seminars, workshops and other related activities.

The aims and objectives of the ASSOCIATION are:

  1. To pursue scholastic, scientific, metaphysical, cultural/traditional and professional knowledge concerning the measurement, etiology, consequences, detection, prevention, control and treatment of crime, victims and delinquency in Nigeria.
  2. To promote criminology and security studies profession and related disciplines and to foster cooperation between members, national security agencies and public individuals.
  3. To educate, advocate and sensitize the public on the fundamental human rights law and victims of crime rights, advocate and canvass for compensation/social security for victims of crime and establish foundation for victims of crime, college of Fellows, Journal of Criminologists and security Practitioners of Nigeria (editorial Advisory board), National Rifle Association and National Students Association of Criminology and Security Studies as interest groups and further invest in corporate Security business.
  4. To harness adequate intelligence on National security issues from all available academic and non academic avenues(research work) with a view to curbing all manner of security challenges in the country via intelligence policing system, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc and provision of white paper to Nigeria government on threatening security issues.
